Recipe Steps

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180C. Cut small squares of baking paper (around 10cm). Line a muffin pan with baking paper. You might need to press the paper down a little bit. You can make half of the recipe if desired. Then combine all the dry ingredients, sifting them to prevent lumps.

Step 2

Add remaining ingredients. Mix well to combine. Do not over mix.

Step 3

Pour batter into the lined muffin pan and bake for around 15 minutes. Insert a toothpick in one of the muffins to confirm if they are ready. The toothpick must come out clean.

  • 200 g Sugar  granulated
  • 50 g Cocoa Powder Unsweetened
  • 10 g Baking Powder
  • 10 ml Vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 125 ml Vegetable oil
  • 250 ml Milk  whole or semi-skimmed
